The International Cancer Sucks Film Festival is a festival that showcases your films and also raises vital funds for cancer research. By submitting your film to our festival you have the chance for your film to be screened to a panel of film industry experts. 90% of to submission fee will be donated to Cancer Research UK.
We exclusively accept submissions via FilmFreeway. Please click in the FilmFreeway link to enter you film.
How the Festival works:
Simply submit your film via FilmFreeway. Your film will be viewed by our selection committee. The committee will select
12 films that will be screened to the festival judges and invited guests during the festival. The final films will then be judged on the festival categories. Best film, best animation, best actor, best director, best cinematography, best screenplay & best film score. Winners will be announced on our webpage and by email within 48 hours after the festival. Winners will receive personalised winners laurels and certificates.
Festival rules:
International Cancer Sucks Film Festival (ICSFF).
1) Entries should not exceed 15 minutes in duration including titles.
2) Only films completed on or after 1st January 2014 are eligible for the 2016 Festival.
3) If the film is not in English, then it must have English subtitles.
4) ICSFF reserve the right to refuse to screen any submission deemed to be inappropriate.
5) All submissions will be evaluated by the ICSFF Selection Committee. Their reports are final and confidential.
12 films will be selected for the live screening to our panel of judges and invited guests. Awards will be announced within 48 hours of the screening.
7) If you wish to withdraw you film, ICSFF will not be liable to refund the fee.
8) ICSFF cannot be held accountable for changes to the schedule after the festival line-up is announced.
9) Participation in ICSFF grants the festival the authorisation to show the entered film to our Selection Committee & live festival screening.
10) We only accept submissions via FilmFreeway. This is a digital festival, please do not sent DVDs or USB sticks.
11) If music or additional film material used in your film is not original, then permission from source must be the obtained. The responsibility for this rests entirely with the filmmaker. Failure to obtain clearance could result in your film being withdrawn from the Festival. In this event, ICSFF will not be liable to refund the fee.
12) The submission of a film to the ICSFF will be considered to be an acknowledgement of the festival rules.
